The short version

We collect what you type into our contact form, and we use it to answer you. We also count visits to this site so we know which pages are worth keeping. We don't sell any of it, we don't advertise with it, and we don't track you around the internet. This site sets no cookies.

What you send us

The contact form on this site asks for:

  • Your name
  • Your phone number and email address
  • Your ranch or operation name, if you give one
  • Approximate head count and location, if you give them
  • Whatever you write in the message field
  • Which of the three enquiry types you selected

Name, phone, and email are required so we can reply. The rest is optional. Please don't send us financial account details, government identification numbers, or anything sensitive through this form — it isn't built for that.

What we do with it

Your submission is emailed to us so we can respond to your enquiry. That is the only purpose. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not build a profile from it, and we do not use it for advertising.

We also send a short automatic acknowledgement to the email address you gave us, confirming we received your enquiry. It is the same fixed message every time and contains none of what you wrote. It is not a mailing list and there is nothing to unsubscribe from — you will only ever get one per enquiry.

This website does not store submissions in a database. The message lives in our email inbox, like a message you had sent us directly.

Your IP address

When you submit the form, our server briefly holds your IP address in memory to limit how many times the form can be submitted in a short window. This is anti-spam protection. It is not written to disk, not linked to your submission, and is erased about a minute after your last request.

Separately, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs of requests to the site, as essentially all web hosts do.

How we count visits

We use Vercel Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. It sets no cookies and does not follow you to other websites. For each visit it records the page you viewed, the site that linked you here, an approximate location no finer than region, and basic device and browser details.

To tell one visit from another without a cookie, Vercel derives a short-lived identifier from your request and discards it within 24 hours. It is not tied to your name or to anything you send us through the form.

We also record when someone taps a phone number, an email address, or a “get in touch” button, along with where on the page it was. Those records say that a click happened and where — never who, and never anything you typed.

Who else handles your information

We keep this list short on purpose. Three companies are involved:

  • Vercel — hosts this website, runs the code that receives your form submission, and provides the visit counting described above.
  • Resend — delivers your submission to us as an email, and delivers the acknowledgement back to you.
  • Google Workspace — where we receive and keep that email.

Each of them handles your information on our behalf, to provide those services and nothing else. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

We may disclose information if the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect our rights or someone's safety.

Cookies, tracking, and fonts

This site sets no cookies. There is no advertising pixel and no cross-site tracking of any kind.

Everything this site displays — its typefaces, its photography, its code, including the visit counter — is served from this site itself. Nothing on a page you view is fetched from another company's servers, so no third party learns that you visited.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails stay in our inbox for as long as we have a reasonable business need for them — typically so we can pick up a conversation where it left off. Ask us to delete yours and we will. Visit counts are kept only as aggregate statistics and cannot be traced back to you.

Your choices

Write to us at the address below and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights over your information; we will honour those requests regardless of where you are, because it is simpler and fairer than checking first.

You are never required to use the form. Calling us works just as well, and leaves us holding less.

Children

This site is intended for people doing business in the cattle trade and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. There is no version history to consult; the page you are reading is the current policy.
